Maureen Wright - Catechetical Director
Maureen Wright, who has been a member of Sacred Heart Parish since 1971, began her church ministry as a catechist in 1974, helping with the formation of the Early Childhood Faith Formation Ministry here at Sacred Heart.
She joined Sacred Heart staff in 1986 and her responsibilities over the years have included Coordinator of Early Childhood, Elementary, and ACT faith formation programs. She presently oversees the Catechetical Ministry and Vacation Bible Camp.
Her professional faith formation includes Basic Catechist Certificate (1976) , Master Catechist (1989), and a two year course at Notre Dame College, Belmont in Education for Parish Services.
Maureen is active in parish life and is a Eucharistic Minister at the 5 pm Mass. She lives with her husband, Patrick, in Saratoga. They have three children who all attended the Catechetical Ministry program at Sacred Heart. Her hobbies include gardening and cooking. She and her husband have belonged to a gourmet dinner group for the past 28 years.
